Happy Birthday Alisabeth Rose!
Today is sweet Alisa’s 6th birthday! She picked waffles and ham and sausage for her birthday dinner (we all pick our favorite meal) and she got to sleep out on the couch-bed and watch movies after the other kids went to sleep (another tradition, and who knows why it’s more fun then in a cozy bed!) She asked for a ‘pink radio’ or modeling clay, and so that is what she got, though she hasn’t opened her presents yet. We’ll do that tonight (I’ll tape American Idol and watch later. The things one does for their children!)

My love of numbers won out! She had a fast and easy birth. My first epidural, and all the kids and my MIL were there to witness. It is STILL my favorite birth.
Alisa is a sweet, yet stubborn, dramatic, funny, beautiful, smart, ticklish, diva-ish, silly, wonderful little girl. She idolizes her sister Gabby. She is the favorite playmate of Dylan. Her birthday party is going to be on Valentine’s Day, and she is really excited! And here are some pictures of Alisa as a new born, and a couple more recent shots. We love you Alisa!
